******************************************************************The Office hour will be as followed: Effective Immediately!
Dear Clients,
As you have likely heard, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared that the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has become pandemic. In light of that pronouncement, we must take steps to protect our clients, families and our employees to the best of our abilities.
First, effective immediately, the office will no longer be open for drop in visits from clients, vendors, or contractors, etc. Please leave all packages at the front door. We are only seeing people by appointment only related to current burials that need to be performed. It is critical that we protect our site staff so that they are best equipped to continue to serve the families that may come for funerals. Given the nature of our responsibilities, it is not possible for all of our employees to work remotely or telework, therefor we must take steps to protect them while at work so that they can continue to provide services to you. This distancing is also intended to protect our clients and staff.
A drop box is available at the office which enables you to deposit payments and other document returns, etc. We are going to be using the US mail as well. We can and will be using email too so we can assist you with other services. You may call in your payments and use the credit card over the phone for your convenience. You may reach us by phone 410-257-0544. Please leave a message and we will return your calls.
We are relying on information being circulated by the World Health Organization (WHO) (www.who.int), the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (www.cdc.gov), the agencies monitoring and reacting to this global health crisis and encouraging all clients to stay informed to best protect yourself and your loved ones.
Finally, to enable effective communication between you and the staff, it is critical that all clients when calling in provide a working phone number and email address.
Sincerely,
Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens.
However, in case of an emergency after posted hours… Please call me at 410-257-0544.
